During the 2nd LLT activity in Volos- Greece students were involved in activities to enhance understanding, tolerance, cooperation and friendship: school choirs performed the songs they have prepared and presented work already done during the project (project diary, etc.). Also, a Treasure Hunt- ‘breaking the ice’ activity- in mixed groups, trekking, orienteering and sports activities with invited experts from the Association of Veteran Scouts, the ‘Peace Dance’ and participation at a local traditional fair were organized to promote cooperation, social skills and friendship among students. The students were also introduced to the art of the folk painter Theofilos who despite having been bullied for his appearance and ideas he persisted in his artistic endeavours and is celebrated as a contributor in modern Greek art.
